  Davis & Joey Tucker

This photo was taken by John Arsenault. It is from the early days  before I started learning from Joey.
Well now, maybe you can teach an old dawg new tricks!

Tuck Squared was a father and son duo doing a wide variety of musical
interpretations from Bluegrass to  Rock & Roll and almost everything in between.Their musical heritage started when Davis was eight years  old and received his first guitar on his birthday. After years of practice and playing anywhere anybody would  listen, numerous bands and many guitars later Joey was born. I think he was blessed by the late great Toy Caldwell, of the Marshall Tucker Band, he touched his mothers belly while Joey was still in the womb. There must have been some magic there because some of Joey's licks are reminiscent of Toy's fantastic guitar style.

Joey and Davis both write songs as well as rearrange cover
tunes to give them the Tuck Squared sound. Along with their longtime friend and bassist Len Berrier, they do what they love and they love what they do, without glamorous tricks and theatrics getting in the way of the music they love sharing with their audiences.
